What is the Fitzrovia Residents' Association?

The Fitzrovia Residents' Association was founded by the residents to improve the quality of life of all those living in Fitzrovia around Fitzroy Square. It aims to:

increase the community spirit amongst neighbours by organising regular encounters between the different constituencies (young, old, professionals, artists etc.) who may not meet otherwise.
share good addresses wherever possible (plumbers, electricians etc).
address in a united manner issues such as noise, crime, pollution and discuss possible solutions amongst residents before approaching local authorities.
become one strong big voice noticed by the local authorities as opposed to a lonely individual voice.
