Dr Bartolo’s Travelling Circus is coming to town! The star of the show is the Doctor’s ward and protégée Rosina, known to all as ‘The Singing Bird’. But will she ever escape her cage to fly free? Why not let this sparkling comedy with its famous and instantly recognisable music whirl you away to join the circus – just for one night!

Rossini’s effervescent music will truly charm you. Sung in witty English by some of the profession’s finest singers, with acclaimed chamber ensemble accompaniment, this enchanting and hilarious opera will delight you.

Tickets: £27.50 per adult includes seat

            £15.00 per child under 18

            £30.00 on the gate subject to availability

Tickets are also available in person from Sarah Borburg at 37 Fitzroy St, W1T 6DX.

Tickets are non-refundable

Refreshments will be on sale including a delicious Thai Buffet (£12.00) & a cash bar serving wine, champagne and soft drinks to enjoy either before the performance or during the 40 minute interval. The performance is scheduled to end by 10.30pm

Please dress warmly – picnic blankets will be on sale. Seating is provided for the performance. In the event of inclement weather, we regret that the performance may not take place.

The Fitzrovia Residents' Association was founded by the residents to improve the quality of life of all those living in Fitzrovia around Fitzroy Square. It aims to:

  • increase the community spirit amongst neighbours by organising regular encounters between the different constituencies (young, old, professionals, artists etc.) who may not meet otherwise.
  • share good addresses wherever possible (plumbers, electricians etc).
  • address in a united manner issues such as noise, crime, pollution and discuss possible solutions amongst residents before approaching local authorities.
  • become one strong big voice noticed by the local authorities as opposed to a lonely individual voice.

 

Right now the main thing we want to do is work out what you love, hate, want to preserve and want to change in Fitzrovia. Please register via the link on the left in order to be able to complete the survey - your details will of course be kept private!
